Reflection on Mark Ecko Site

At the start of the semester, we analyzed www.marcecko.com, to determine if it was a good or bad design. At the time, I said that it was a good design, and I still stand by that claim. The navigation is unique, yes, but it still shows some order: Philanthropy at the top, brand info in the middle, about & contact at the bottom. If I could change anything about the site, it would be the drop down navigation at the top. I think organizing the links into categories could provide assistance for those struggling with the frames on the homepage.

Aside from the navigation, I think the design itself is very clean. I love the black and white color scheme with the pops of color. The frames are well balanced, and the focus is on the Mark Ecko name. Overall, it shows the creativity that the company is trying to convey in their brands.
